Practical fracture repair in the small dog and cat

A two-day practical course regarding repairing simple fractures of the long bones in the small dog and cat. The course is in English and addresses Veterinarians only.

Learn how to deal with simple fractures of mainly the diaphysis of the long bones in small dogs and cats.

The course will be a combination of lectures and practical work. Though mainly focused on practical work where you will learn simple techniques such as K-wires, cerclages, Fixateur externe and even plates and screws.

At the practical part of the course, you will team up in pairs of two. There will be 6 teams all together, which will enable you to get thorough guiding throughout the course.

Michael Koch is a veterinarian who in recent years has become a specialist in the field of small animal surgeries. He works as a speaker at innovative seminars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
